All four sizes share the same slim 2.56″ (6.5 cm) profile; only the width changes. The 7.87″ (20 cm) is ideal for closets, small hallways and entryways, and looks beautiful repeated along a corridor. The 11.81″ (30 cm) suits larger hallways, walk-in closets and small bedrooms. The 15.75″ (40 cm) works as the main light in an average bedroom or home office, and the 19.69″ (50 cm) makes a striking centerpiece in a primary bedroom, living room or above a dining table. A simple rule: for a room’s main light, add the room’s length and width in feet, and choose a fixture close to that number in inches.
Is it real marble, and will mine look like the photos?
Yes, the Vesper’s shade is natural ivory marble. Because marble forms naturally over millions of years, every piece has its own unique veining, tone and pattern, so your Vesper will closely resemble the photos but will never be an exact copy. Those variations aren’t flaws; they’re what make each fixture one of a kind. To keep it beautiful, dust it with a soft, dry cloth and avoid water and acidic or chemical cleaners, which can etch natural stone.
How is the Vesper installed, and is it good for low ceilings?
The Vesper is a flush mount fixture that installs directly against the ceiling and is hardwired to a standard ceiling junction box, controlled by your wall switch. We recommend installation by a licensed electrician, and because natural marble is heavier than glass or fabric, make sure the junction box is securely mounted. It’s compatible with US 110–120V / 60Hz homes. At only 2.56″ tall, it’s an excellent choice for low ceilings, hallways and rooms where a pendant would hang too low. It’s designed for indoor, dry spaces.
