Should I choose Dark Wood or Light Wood?
Both share the same curved design and opal glass globe; only the wood tone changes. Dark Wood has a rich walnut tone that adds warmth and contrast against white, cream or light walls and pairs beautifully with darker woods, leather and brass. Light Wood has a soft, natural tone that feels airy and Scandinavian and blends seamlessly with light oak, linen, rattan and pale walls. A simple rule of thumb is to match it to the wood already in your room, such as your nightstands, flooring or doors.
What bulb does it use, and can it be dimmed?
The Sora uses one G9 bulb, a small two-pin bulb that fits neatly inside its opal glass globe, up to 7W, and the bulb is not included. For the coziest look, we recommend a warm white G9 LED around 2700K–3000K. It can be dimmed when you use a dimmable G9 bulb with a compatible wall dimmer (not included). It’s designed for US 110–120V / 60Hz homes.
How big is it, and how is it installed?
The Sora measures 3.94″ W × 9.84″ H × 5.12″ D (10 × 25 × 13 cm), a compact size that’s perfect beside a bed, along a hallway or stairway, or framing a mirror or doorway, and it looks especially elegant in pairs. It’s a hardwired wall sconce that connects to a standard wall junction box and is controlled by your wall switch, so we recommend installation by a licensed electrician. It’s designed for indoor, dry spaces.
