About the Seraphina’s materials and design
Iron is one of the oldest and most important metals in human history. It gave its name to the Iron Age, which began more than 3,000 years ago, and blacksmiths have shaped it into everything from tools to ornate gates and candle holders ever since. Its strength and durability make it ideal for lighting: an iron frame holds its shape for decades and gives a fixture a solid, quality feel. The Seraphina pairs that strength with a brushed gold finish, which softens the metal with a warm, satin glow rather than a high shine, so it feels refined and understated instead of flashy. Its teardrop silhouette draws on one of design’s most timeless shapes. Curved, organic forms like the teardrop feel natural and calming to the eye, which is why they appear so often in art, jewelry and architecture. When lit, the Seraphina’s rounded shade casts a soft, diffused glow, and with a dimmable G9 LED bulb included, it’s an energy-efficient way to bring warmth and quiet luxury to a bedroom, hallway or living space.
Why the Seraphina fits so beautifully in a home
The Seraphina brings a sense of calm, organic elegance that works with almost any interior. Its soft teardrop silhouette feels natural and inviting, softening the straight lines of modern rooms while adding grace to classic and traditional spaces. The brushed gold finish has a warm, satin glow rather than a high shine, so it pairs effortlessly with creams, warm woods, marble, linen and natural textures, and it complements styles from modern Scandinavian and mid-century to vintage glam and modern rustic. At 17.5″ tall with a slim 4.7″ wall plate, it adds a sculptural focal point without crowding the wall, making it ideal beside a bed, along a hallway or staircase, framing a mirror or highlighting an archway. With a dimmable LED bulb included, you can set the mood from a bright reading glow to a soft, relaxing ambiance, and a pair instantly creates the balanced, boutique-hotel look that makes a house feel like a beautifully finished home.

Does the Seraphina come with a bulb, and can it be dimmed?
Yes to both. Every Seraphina comes with an LED bulb, so it’s ready to use as soon as it’s installed. It uses a G9 socket and is dimmable when connected to a compatible wall dimmer, so you can go from a brighter reading light to a soft, relaxing glow in the evening. The LED is energy-efficient and runs cool, giving you warm, diffused light for years.
How is the Seraphina installed?
The Seraphina is a hardwired wall sconce, connected to a wall junction box and controlled by your existing wall switch, so we recommend installation by a licensed electrician. It works with voltages from 90V to 260V, making it suitable for homes almost anywhere. Its slim 4.7″ wall plate mounts neatly and discreetly, keeping the focus on the sculptural teardrop shade.
Where does the Seraphina look best?
At 17.5″ tall, 6.3″ wide and 8.2″ deep, the Seraphina is versatile enough for almost any room. It’s beautiful on either side of a bed as a pair of reading lights, along a hallway or staircase, flanking a mirror or entryway console, or highlighting an archway or reading nook. Each sconce lights roughly 5–10 square meters (about 55–110 sq ft), creating a warm, ambient glow. It’s designed for dry, indoor locations only.
