What makes the Livia special?
The Livia is a compact cylinder of natural Italian marble on a warm aged brass mount. Its marble shows bold, dramatic veining that’s unique to every piece, so no two Livias are ever exactly alike. Even when the light is off, it reads as a small piece of sculpture on your wall, and when it’s on, it washes the wall with a soft glow both up and down for a warm, layered look.
What bulbs does it use, and can it be dimmed?
The Livia uses two G9 bulbs, one for the up light and one for the down light. Bulbs aren’t included, so you can choose the warmth you prefer. We recommend warm white LED bulbs at 2700–3000K. It’s dimmable when you use dimmable G9 bulbs with a compatible wall dimmer, so you can set anything from a brighter wash to a soft evening glow.
Where does it look best, and how is it installed?
At just 9.45″ tall, 2.76″ wide and 3.54″ deep, the Livia fits where larger sconces can’t, beside a bed, along a hallway, flanking a mirror or framing an entryway. It looks especially elegant as a pair. It’s wall mounted and wired into your home’s electrical system, so we recommend installation by a licensed electrician. It’s designed for dry, indoor spaces only.
